John Paul Gaultier Spring 2010

Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2010 collection was shown this past thursday. This collection resembles a sailor type who doesn't mind showing their feminine side a little bit. Sailor sweaters have always kind of been Gaultier's trademark, but this time around he put a touch on his clothing using square nylon microfiber collars. He also paired Converse with many of his looks to sort of downplay his suits to give it a teenage feel. Their were many looks to his collection but I decided to focus on these two above. Gaultier collaborated with Levi's in April and produced classic denim with red stitching. Even though the jeans look amazing without the wrap around straps, Gaultier always likes to do it big and make a statement.
